Foods are everywhere. Different stalls, different stalls. Different flavors, different types. Some can go with the trend, but some were not. Millenials nowadays are searching for something special. It doesn't matter if it is common as long as there is something new about it. Burgers, pasta, french fries, etc. But lets focus on one of the most popular food which can resist by our taste buds, burgers. There are to many stalls here in lipa which offers burgers, like the army navy, burger king, even the jollibee and mcdonalds have thier own and also the ivan navy. Ivan navy which is located at ayala highway, near at the food park is a one good stall who offers burgers. The place may not be aiconditioned but the ambience was good. There you have a lot of choices. The

Price starts at php50 which was a single quarter patty burger. They also offer double half pounder, pounder which u can be upgraded into double or tripple. They also have a delicious tacos and fries. If you want to try to go to ivan navy be sure your not too hungry. It is because there burger was MTO or made to order. And because the patty was big and thick enough it was that long to cook. But the most important thing is that. It can solved your hunger. If you think Burger King and Army Navy were expensive enough. Then try Ivan Navy.

Comfort Foods

Food is the primitive form of comfort. When I hear the words "comfort food" the first thing that comes on my mind is ice cream. Who doesn't love ice cream? I guess most of us love this. We all know it's good for coming summer for cooling just to reduce the heat we feel. I've found that even if the weather is cold, it's also enjoying to eat. Ice cream always gives me comfort whenever I'm stress or down. I never choose any flavor or brand of it. As long as the ice cream is cold, I would always like to eat ice cream.

Another comfort food is the marshmallows. A soft candy with a sweet taste that feels like heaven when it start melthing on your mouth. My favorite flavor of marshmallows is strawberry. It also smell like strawberry and I usually smell it before going to eat. Haha.

If you need to be comforted for a while, have a break on your stress or sadness. Just eat ice cream and marshmallows

Tagumpay Mini Mart

Tagumpay mini mart was the first mini mart here in Lipa. It was established way back,1975, and it is the primacy source of groceries of the Lipeños. Before Sm, Robinsons or even South Supermarket, this maybe called the father of grocery stores here in Lipa, but is only my opinion. Lol.

It is owned by Antonio Bautista Recio and Erlinda Recio, a couple we can call the founders of this business. Their starting capital was only P5000. They made ways for them to be successful, and I looking forward that the Tagumpay mini mart will be a mall someday.

The couple have 9 children, and they have all a title on their name. And they are also successful on the profession that they have chosen

    The Filipinos are so versatile and can do a lot of work even at one time. A father can clean his car while at the same time watering the plants. The Coconut tree on the other hand has its many uses as well. Because of that, it is called the Tree of Life.
     Just like the ordinary Filipino, this tree is just simple yet can provide as one of the basic needs of the people. It protects, it feeds and it heals. When the tree reaches its 60 years, it can be a good lumber for building a shelter or a house. A mature meat of coconut fruit which is thick and is called Copra, can be processed into cosmetics, oil, soap and other beauty products. The coco water is a good cure for Urinary Tract Infection. Another wonder of this fruit is that it can be turned into a wine called “tuba” once naturally fermented. Additionally, leaves can also be made into a useful cleaning material called “walis ting-ting” or a sweeper and the shell of coconut fruit can be cooked and be made into charcoal.
     Appreciate the value of the coconut tree, and in case that cutting it is for personal purposes, like for building a house and the like. Be responsible enough to plant another tree as a replacement. And also don't just put the other parts of the tree on the trash, like the husk it may still be processed into foam and it's flower May be used as a decor too. As I said earlier, it is the Tree of Life . Each part counts, each parts has a value, don't just put it in the trash. It's value is worth appreciating.

Ang kape ay isa sa mga inuming hindi nawawala sa hapagkainan ng isang taga Batangas. Mapa-umaga, tanghali o gabi, lagi mong mapapansin ang isang tasa ng kape na kalapit ng kanilang mga plato.

Kapeng Barako — ang kapeng kilalang kilala at mabenta sa Batangas. Ito ay may pinagsamang matamis at mapait na lasa na gustong gusto ng mga Batangueño.
Ang kapeng ito ay dinala ng mga Espanyol sa Pilipinas at dun pinalago. Dahil ang Lipa Batangas ay may magandang lokasyon at klima, sakto sa pagpapatubo ng kapeng ito. Naging kilala ang kape dahil sa matapang nitong lasa.
Ang kapeng barako ay nakakaapekto sa resistensya ng katawan. Meron itong "caffeine" na nagbibigay ng enerhiya, bukod dito ay, best antioxidant ang kape at nakakatulong ito sa pagpapababa ng risk ng heart disease at Alzheimers.

Tunay nga naman na masarap ang kapeng barako sa Batangas, isa ako sa makakapagpatunay dahil ako ay isang avid-fan ng kapeng ito. Kaya kung magkakaroon kayo ng oras na bumisita sa Batangas lalong lalo na sa Lipa, huwag nyong kakalimutan na subukan ang Kapeng Batangueño.

Kakanin in Batangas

We would like to introduce the Tamales. It is a delicious native delicacy from Batangas.The tamales made of sticky rice (termed locally as malagkit), drizzled with coconut latik, is also called suman in some parts of Batangas. But in Lipa and here in Mataasnakahoy, we call that rectangular shaped rice-based dessert/snack as tamales and the elongated tube-like one is the suman.Although the pork stuffed tamales is known in Batangas City, Rosario, Padre Garcia, and Taal, it is more associated with the town of Ibaan.This was the tamales that I grew up knowing. Mom used to bring it home often enough. I don’t know about other people, but I have always known the tamales to be a snack, not a viand for a meal.This might not be for everybody and might not be a food which can be called as love at first taste. But I can say that when ever visitors tried this one, they will be in love with it’s taste. Visit our town batangas and try this one!

Of course on Valentines Day, we always see couples giving gifts to each other that symbolizes Love; the delectable chocolates, blooming flowers, cute teddy bears, luxurious things and many more. Family bonding on different places . We will see in every places many people show their love to everyone

So if I ask where to go on Valentines Day here in Lipa I'm going to Cathedral Church whether I'm single or not. This is the first destination we should go .,of course on this day it symbolizes Love ,so we should express our love first to God and then after that if I'm thinking a second destination as myself as a single person I'm going to St.Therese Church and have some solemn imaginary thing, why? Because on the first time I went here I feel solemn in this place and I feel very comfortable and I want to share it to everyone so that they will feel better . On the third destination Malarayat Golf Course near St.Therese Church ,when you went here you will feel an imaginative feeling on your mind . The trees,plants,flowers,field and everything in this place.

Even a single person or not can go in this kind of place because on Valentines Day it's not only the day for the couples,it's the day for yourself ,family and friends and give yourself a break .

For myself as I wrote this article I chose this 3 destination for the reason , I'm a girl who always love in a solemn place to think and imagine many things in my life.

Valentines day is all about love. Love not only for lovers but also the love of our parent to us and vise versa. There are many things which can be done to show the love during valentines day. One of this is by giving our love ones gift thru flowers, chocolates and other sweet things. Chocolate is one of the best things that serves as a gift during valentines. Chocolates represent our sweetness towards our loved ones. If your able to gave a chocolate to someone to whom do you prepared it to give? Have you ever think to give some chocolates to your parents? Well if your thinking it for now, don't think that much for what kind of chocolate you'll be given to them because they are always been there for us and they don't even asking us for a present. Giving them even the most cheapest but sweet chocolate will make them really happy. They may be surprise if it will be your first time to do this. Even a box of "Beng Beng" or Goya, can make them smile and feel really great and loved. Don't be shy to gave them even this kind of chocolates even if it is cheap, even if it is local brand, the most special thing is that you always remember them, you love,obey,feel blessed and thankful of them because they are your parents. And if you have the money or you can afford to buy a branded one. Gave them the best chocolate you know. The best chocolate i can offer you if your parents are not capable of eating nuts, buy them a vermony nut free chocolates its because base on research it is one of the best chocolate nuts free. And if your parents are capable of eating nuts, gave them ferrero. Even for that day make them happy.
